Pratt & Whitney, Mirabel - Energy saving

On May 2011, Pratt & Whitney Canada has officially inaugurated its Mirabel Aerospace Centre. Blondin Fortin has participated in all phases of the project and the design of the building achieved the LEED silver certification. According to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), the innovative design of the building systems will save $196,258 annually in energy costs by consuming 41% less energy than if it had been designed according to the Model National Energy Code for Buildings.
